Protection of Children
We know it is God's will for us to care for and protect children. For the safety of everyone here at First Assembly, all volunteers must submit to various screening procedures. A criminal record search along with a sex offender search is done on everyone working with our children. Records are kept in a secure place to ensure privacy.

General Guidelines
When serving in any area of ministry, you are representing Christ to those persons coming into our church and also to those you come in contact with outside the church. This is an awsome responsibility that requires you to live your life "above reproach" so that others will see and hear the grace of Jesus Christ as you seek to live an exemplary Christian lifestyle.

Volunteer Requirements

1. Must be in agreement with the Tenets of Faith of the Assemblies of God

2. Must be a member of First Assembly of God, Niagara Falls OR a faithful attendee who has attended for a period of at least six months.

3. Must complete a workers application and complete the orientation/training process.

4. Must be willing to complete an in-person interview with church leadership and complete a background check.

Teen Helpers
Teen help is accepted and appreciated. Teen helpers may assist in children's ministry only when they have completed a student volunteer application signed by a parent/guardian; they have completed required training; they have been given approval by the Children's Ministry Director.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Brenda Armpriester at the church office at 297.7794 or by emailing her at barmpriester@niagarafallsfirst.org.
