How will I know where to go once I get there?
We have a guide to our building and parking lot on this web site to help you know where to enter and where to find classrooms for children and youth. Our greeters are also available at each entrance to assist you if you like. We suggest you enter from the 98th St. side (South) where there is a covered awning.

How should I dress?
There is no “dress code”. Some people enjoy dressing up on Sundays and others prefer to be more casual.
How long is the service?
Sunday morning service usually lasts about 90 minutes.
What will the message be like?
We strive to bring a meaningful and relevant message that you can apply to your everyday life. Messages are usually 30-40 minutes.
What will the music be like?
We offer a mix of contemporary and traditional worship music with an array of musicians and vocalists. The music is uplifting and inspirational.
What happens when I enter the service?
When you come in the auditorium, you'll be given a copy of "The Bulletin" which has the week's announcements and a description of the day's service. You'll notice the Bulletin has a tear-off slip ("The Connection Card"), which is an easy way for us to get better acquainted; you can ask for any kind of information or assistance using the Connection Card.
What happens during the Service?
The service usually begins with some upbeat music, followed by a welcome and introduction to the theme of the day's service. A worship service of contemporary music will be followed by a time of prayer before the pastor brings the message for the day. On the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Holy Communion which is open to all believers. The message is usually 30-40 minutes and presents a topic relevant to daily life. The message will be based on the Bible presented simply with use of PowerPoint and other audiovisuals. The offering and Connection Cards will be collected after the message to allow everyone an opportunity to provide feedback or request information. Some weeks, there may be an “invitation” to come forward for prayer or to respond in some way to the challenge given in the message. The entire service usually lasts about 90 minutes.
What kind of people are there?
You name it! We are a diverse group of people of all ages. There are families with children, young adults, and older adults. Everyone is welcome.
Will the people be unfriendly, or too friendly?
We want you to feel welcome but understand that it can be awkward to be in a new place. The people will be welcoming and friendly but not overbearing.
Will I be singled out or have to stand up in front of all these people I don’t know?
We want you to feel comfortable and will not do anything to single you out or embarrass you.
Will they ask me for money?
We receive “tithes” and offerings each week from our regular attenders but we do not expect our guests to give and there is no pressure to do so.
